HAZUS
[back] HAZUS is a registered trademark of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). HAZUS is loss estimation software created with funding from the US Federal Emergency Management Agency The name is short for HAZards U.S. and the software estimates damage from earthquakes now, floods and wind soon. Brian has been using HAZUS since March 1999 and the following large graphic provides a glimpse of three recently run scenarios for the region around San Francisco, California.
